Purchasing Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious Purchasing Distribution Transfer Officer to join the GCC’s largest wholesale business in the pet sector. This role will contribute to driving wholesale operations within our growing company.
The ideal candidate will assist Purchasers in maintaining inventory across all markets and facilitate tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Purchasing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels in each boutique and facilitate stock transfer betweens warehouses.
- Enter all internal purchase orders / intercompany stock transfers into they system across all markets.
- Coordinate with the sales team on special orders.
- Process all internal invoices across markets in the system.
- Manage inbound reports related to internal stocks transfers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills for effectively managing product data and stock levels.
- Previous experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
- Prior experience in purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
