2nd Chance Rescue
2nd Chance Rescue’s primary goal is to help abused, abandoned and stray animals in Qatar, as well as raising awareness of the issue of animal welfare in Qatar.
The shelter was founded in 2009 by Abdulla Al Naemi, Kim Clarkson and Julie Zawadzki. It is based on the family farm of Abdulla Al Naemi, which is located approximately 15 minutes north of Doha.
From the original ‘family’ of nine dogs, 2nd Chance has grown and now cares for between 45 and 55 dogs at any one time. The shelter welcomes visitors and volunteers, and the goal is to get more rescued dogs adopted by appropriate families.
